Services

At Children's Medical Group, our goal is to deliver a comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence based medical care for your children from the newborn period up to 22 years of age. The following are some of the services we offer in our offices:

  • Prenatal counseling - Please call our office to schedule a consultation with one of our providers.
  • Annual Physicals/ School/ Camp/ Sports/ Travel/ Pre-op exams
  • Same day sick visit appointments 
  • 6 days a week office hours (see hours for details)
  • Access to after-hours phone calls to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta nurse line. Please note, a CMG provider is also available after hours via phone only for emergencies that cannot be addressed by the nurse line. 
  • On site laboratory. Our lab technicians are well trained to draw blood from pediatric patients for our in-house and send away labs. Our rapid tests include strep test, mono, flu, glucose, CBC, urine analysis, total cholesterol, ESR (inflammatory marker) and newborn bilirubin levels.
  • Our nurses are trained to perform urinary catherization and able to administer intermuscular antibiotics if needed.
  • Phototherapy treatment for newborns with jaundice
  • Suture/Staple/simple foreign body removal
  • Concussion evaluation, diagnosis and management
  • Psychological evaluation and management for  uncomplicated ADHD, depression and anxiety. Any complicated cases will be referred to a psychiatrist for further management.
  • Nutritional Counseling: All of our practitioners are certified Strong for Life providers. We are trained by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to offer evidence based, actionable information about motivational interviewing techniques, goal setting, BMI tracking and childhood obesity management protocols.
  • Chronic disease management such as asthma, allergy, eczema, obesity, migraines, ADHD, etc.
  • On site spirometer. This is a simple machine that is done in the office to understand how well your child's lungs work. This test is used in the evaluation of asthma and chronic cough.
  • On site Spot Vision Test. This is a state of the art, handheld, portable device designed to help providers quickly and easily detect vision issues on patients from 6 months of age through adult.
  • Travel vaccines and consultation
  • Ear Piercing at all 3 offices
  • Pedia IQ (Johns Creek location only). This is a series of cost effective and time efficient testing that screens for mental health disorders, ADHD, and learning disability. The evaluation is conducted at our office and the results are analyzed by a licensed psychologist.
  • Oral contraceptive management at the discretion of the provider. Any complicated cases will be referred to a Gynecologist for further evaluation.
  • Referral department - We have an entire department dedicated to help you navigate and choose the appropriate specialist.
