A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Megan started her career in healthcare with a BSN from Florida State University-go Noles! After graduation, she relocated to Atlanta and began her nursing career at Emory University hospital. Following her passion for pediatric healthcare she transitioned to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where she spent the next 5 years in the Pediatric ICU as a staff nurse. During this time, she attended UAB for her Masters in the Science of Nursing with a specialized focus in Pediatric Primary Care. Prior to joining CMG, Megan practiced at a private clinic in Stockbridge, Georgia. Megan is passionate about primary care pediatrics as it allows her to develop long term relationships with the families she cares for while spending time educating and building strong foundations for a healthy lifestyle. Megan is a current member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Georgia Chapter and a Clinical Instructor for the Emory University School of Nursing
Outside of clinic, Megan and her husband are kept busy by their 4 children and enjoy spending time outside and frequenting Atlanta area attractions including the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Zoo and Aquarium just to name a few! In her “free time” Megan enjoys playing tennis, reading, and trying out new local area restaurants.
